Alon Medical is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Specialist to join our dedicated team. We are a dynamic organization selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic and sports medicine products. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory control, shipping, receiving, field inventory accuracy and order processing. This person will assist with the daily management and accuracy of the company’s Redspot Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Other duties will be assigned as business requirements dictate.

The Inventory Specialist must have a desire to learn the vast products we sell, build relationships with office and field employees, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be passionate about entering the highly competitive medical device sales industry.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Inventory Specialist:

  • Work directly with the sales team to maintain the accuracy of field inventory records.

  • Have strong relationship building skills to be able to integrate into a diverse sales organization.

  • Analytical skills to maintain data integrity in Redspot and the Arthrex Business Portal systems.

  • Ensure that orders are managed consistent with Inventory/Sales priorities and communicate order status.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

  • Vision – if corrective lenses are required per DMV, they must be worn when operating company equipment and while working.

Requirements for the Inventory Specialist:

  • Regional travel

  • AA or Bachelor’s Degree

  • Previous inventory/warehouse experience.

  • Detail Oriented.

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system experience.

  • Valid US driver license with clear motor vehicle record.

Alon Medical is seeking an experienced, highly self -motivated Sales Representative to join our fast- paced, dedicated team, to promote innovative Spinal products manufactured by Arthrex for Louisiana and MS territories. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience calling on Neuro and Orthopedic spine surgeons in the operating room.

Job Description:

The Spine Sales Representative is responsible making field sales calls, soliciting orders, selling assigned Arthrex Spinal products, and representing the company in accordance with its policies. The Spine Sales Representative must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments with Neuro and Orthopedic spine surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio and will be responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within their assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas and total company market share in assigned territory. Description

As a Medical Education Director/Clinical Specialist for Alon Medical, your primary responsibility will be to manage and supervise the educational, technical, and clinical training on Arthrex products and surgical techniques to all Alon Medical employees. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and proctoring training labs for Surgeons and Healthcare providers in the safe and effective use of Arthrex products.

This position may suit a Sports Medicine HCP, an Orthopedic surgical assistant or an industry-experienced medical education professional with a medical/operative background (PA, RN, MA) located within the Great New Orleans region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent Alon Medical/Arthrex as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by consulting with Surgeons and Healthcare Professionals on products and techniques.

  • Provide Medical Education training programs on the safe and effective use of Arthrex products and procedures for Alon Medical Employees, Surgeons, and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Oversee and proctor Medical Education Training labs for Alon Medical Employees, Surgeons, and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Develop, teach, and instruct training and educational programs for all Alon Medical Employees on products and surgical techniques associated with Arthrex products.
  • Manage online learning educational management system assuring 100% compliance by employees.
  • Aid coordinating travel for HCP’s & representatives, coordinating meals for lab events, record keeping, etc.
  • Participate in continuing education on all Arthrex surgical products and procedures with the intent of training all Alon Medical Employees, Surgeons and Healthcare Professionals on these products and procedures.
  • Build employee confidence and morale by being knowledgeable in the areas listed above.
  • Ability to delegate and communicate the goals and objectives of the organization pertaining to Medical Education. Develop winning strategies and willingness to think outside the box.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including latest techniques and literature, peer-reviewed articles, white papers, product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Primary Liaison between Arthrex Corporate Medical Education and Alon Medical.
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.

The Director of Medical Education will provide a cohesive Medical Education Program to support Alon Medical including but not be limited to:

Representative Education

  • New and Tenured Rep Curriculum Development and implementation
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Management
  • New and Focus-Product assimilation
  • Journal Reviews and dissemination
  • Field Mentoring and Reporting
  • Provide regular feedback to Territory Managers regarding associate development and to Regional Managers and Specialty Managers regarding team development.

Lab Services

  • Coordinate and support BioSkills facility’s surgeon lab visits
  • Provide clinical support in lab events.
  • Order and maintain lab resources including samples, literature, instrumentation, equipment and supplies for the BioSkills facility.
  • Maintain and submit monthly lab expense/compliance reports for all Fortis BioSkills facilities.
  • Support sales team events in the Alon Medical BioSkills facility.
  • Assist with lab and Course development and implementation locally, regionally, offsite and at the Manufacturer’s site(s).
  • Travel as needed to Manufacturer sites for training and/or surgeon events to act as a liaison between the rep and his/her surgeon(s) and the manufacturer’s clinical specialists and management team.

Business Services

  • Support local shows, exhibits and medical events as needed including registration and representation.
  • Assist with the support of Resident and Fellowship programs within the region.
  • Facilitate and participate in On-Site In-Services and Sales Calls as needed.
  • The Director of Medical Education will manage the business ethically and adhere to all applicable Alon Medical, Arthrex, and hospital guidelines including specific credentialing requirements and ADVAMED http://advamed.org/.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of Clinical Training/ OR experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree Desired
  • Experience as an athletic trainer, physician assistant, surgical scrub tech, or nurse practitioner is a plus.
  • Preferably 5+ years of Orthopedic Industry knowledge.
  • B2B Sales experience preferred.

Travel Required:

  • Afternoon availability required.

Main Objective:
The Orthopedic Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. Sales Representative must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. Majority of time will be consulting surgeons in the operating room, surgeon office and/or hospital setting which includes coverage of cases, coordination of equipment required for case coverage, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment, regarding the use of our implants and instruments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Convert key surgeons to Arthrex techniques and products by utilizing a high level of technical and surgical knowledge. Profitably sell Arthrex product lines and exceed assigned quota for the products by utilizing a consultative sales approach and leadership in competitive situations.
  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Alon Medical Technology, an independent regional distributor authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.  Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
  • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face).
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
  • Address any problems that arise at the account.
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.
  • Work with Sales Manager(s) by receiving coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • This position requires extensive travel within territory with the possibility of weekend work and/or limited overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
  • 2-5 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry.
  • Experience as an associate in the orthopedic industry is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • MS Office required.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.
  • Flexible schedule – expect to be on call as needed, on weekends, holidays.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Current Driver’s license.
  • Access to your own transportation & auto-insurance.
