Description
The Distal Extremity & Trauma Manager is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within the entire service area. Manager must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our OrthoTrauma & extremity products. You will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our products while working closely with our Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine and Orthobiologics Team Leaders.
Alon Medical is an independent regional distributor for Arthrex. We are seeking a Distal Extremity & Trauma Sales Manager to oversee the development of this product segment in our geography.
Experienced Orthopedic Sales Managers must maintain customer relations and establish new relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio and using this information to drive sales or motivate sales people to drive sales. This professional will be consulting with surgeons (with whom you may have an already established track record of success) in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. This role is defined for an established Orthopedic Sales Manager who will be responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas. This role demands strong leadership and requires the professional to set him or herself as an example for all team members to follow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops a Business Plan and Sales Strategy for your overall territory that ensures attainment of company sales goals, quotas and profitability for Arthrex products.
- Responsible for the development and performance of Teams and Individual Sales Associates within the Team with regards to Products and Techniques.
- Works closely with Territory Managers and Director of Medical Education to manage training and education protocol for Sales Representatives, Territory Managers, and New Hires.
- Initiates and coordinates development of Annual, Quarterly and Monthly Targeting & Action plans to grow business by pursuing sales of existing and new products including focus products.
- Insures all Sales Representatives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Delegate’s authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples for Sales Representatives in areas of knowledge base, personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Sales Representatives to build motivation and selling skills.
- Builds strong relationships and works closely with Arthrex Management to ensure attainment of required company sales goals, quotas and proper protocols.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Representatives.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses in conjunction with Management Team.
- Assist with recruiting, testing, and hiring based on criteria agreed upon by Senior Management.
- Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and operating room staff.
- Support and promote medical training in your territory.
- Engage in continuous education of Arthrex surgical techniques and products.
- Uphold the mission of Arthrex, “Helping surgeons treat their patients better™”.
- Take initiative to generate creative and practical solutions in rapidly changing environments.
- Travel to client sites to deliver/pick up instrumentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-5 Years of field experience in Orthopedic Extremities & Trauma
Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills. - Experienced and comfortable making executive presentations.
Must be able to comfortably present to 10 or more people in difficult negotiations.
Knowledge of surgical orthopedics. - Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates activities to achieve Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.

Alon Medical is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Specialist to join our dedicated team. We are a dynamic organization selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic and sports medicine products. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory control, shipping, receiving, field inventory accuracy and order processing. This person will assist with the daily management and accuracy of the company’s Redspot Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Other duties will be assigned as business requirements dictate.
The Inventory Specialist must have a desire to learn the vast products we sell, build relationships with office and field employees, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be passionate about entering the highly competitive medical device sales industry.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Inventory Specialist:
Process inbound and outbound inventory transactions in a manner that is both timely and accurate.

Work directly with the sales team to maintain the accuracy of field inventory records.
Have strong relationship building skills to be able to integrate into a diverse sales organization.
Analytical skills to maintain data integrity in Redspot and the Arthrex Business Portal systems.
Ensure that orders are managed consistent with Inventory/Sales priorities and communicate order status.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Vision – if corrective lenses are required per DMV, they must be worn when operating company equipment and while working.

Main Objective:
The Orthopedic Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. Sales Representative must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. Majority of time will be consulting surgeons in the operating room, surgeon office and/or hospital setting which includes coverage of cases, coordination of equipment required for case coverage, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment, regarding the use of our implants and instruments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Convert key surgeons to Arthrex techniques and products by utilizing a high level of technical and surgical knowledge. Profitably sell Arthrex product lines and exceed assigned quota for the products by utilizing a consultative sales approach and leadership in competitive situations.
- Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Alon Medical Technology, an independent regional distributor authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
- Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
- Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
- Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face).
- Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
- Address any problems that arise at the account.
- Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.
- Work with Sales Manager(s) by receiving coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
- Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
- Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
- Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
